Questions worth answering plainly
Payments, eligibility, ownership and plans — no fine print surprises. Can't find what you need? The full terms are at /terms.
Getting started
Fair question — this category has a lot of bad actors. We only show campaigns that are funded and live, every rate on the page is backed by a real campaign budget, and we never invent stats or testimonials. You can read the full payment terms of any campaign before signing up.
StreamGenie is a creator marketplace and the supply side of a data pipeline for physical AI. You can get paid three ways: record real-world footage for AI-training campaigns, license your existing streams and VODs, or clip and create UGC for brands. Alongside the marketplace we run our own in-house capture facility for higher-fidelity data. You keep full ownership of everything; we handle the matching, packaging and payouts.
Two things, really. If you already stream, you can earn from content you've already made by licensing eligible video — no change to your routine. And if you're willing to record, clip or create, funded campaigns pay for real-world footage, clips and UGC. Either way, demand comes from real buyers: AI labs, robotics teams and brands.
We're the supply side of a real data pipeline, not an ad-arbitrage scheme. Demand comes from funded buyers, we run our own in-house capture facility alongside the marketplace, and every campaign shows its budget, rate and terms before you start. You can see the kinds of projects this work feeds in our case studies.
No. Earnings are not guaranteed. Licensing outcomes depend on content eligibility, partner demand, rights clearance, and quality controls.
No. AI-training and data-collection campaigns just need a phone and the willingness to record everyday tasks. Clipping and UGC campaigns are open to anyone who can edit a short video.
Content & eligibility
In general, content with higher signal, clearer storytelling, and/or clear human action performs best.
Best fit (Premium / High tier): cinematic films, documentaries, episodic series, structured shows; high-production animation libraries; studio-style content with continuity and clean audio.
Great fit (Mid tier): nature/wildlife (especially narrated or structured); tutorials, DIY, how-to, cooking, makers, build videos; host-led formats, talk shows, podcast-style video.
Okay fit (Lower tier): typical creator/streamer content, gameplay VODs, vlogs (value varies heavily based on clarity, engagement, and rights cleanliness).
Usually lowest fit: drone footage with no narration/context; security camera / static crowd scenes / no humans on screen (unless rare environments + labeled metadata).
This varies by partner and QC, but common disqualifiers include:
· Content you don't fully own or control
· Heavy copyrighted music (especially full tracks), TV/movies playing in background
· Reuploaded content, compilation clips you didn't create, or unclear rights
· Content featuring minors in sensitive contexts or private surveillance-style footage
· Anything that violates platform rules or licensing partner requirements
No. But audio clarity, structure, and human action tend to increase eligibility and value.
How it works
Typically:
1. Sign up through your partner link/code
2. Connect your channel/account(s) (based on what StreamGenie supports)
3. StreamGenie begins building your library automatically
4. Content goes through quality + rights checks
5. Eligible content is packaged for licensing partner review
TikTok LIVE, Twitch, and Kick. Connect your accounts and we build your content library automatically from your streams and VODs.
You give companies permission to use your video for specific purposes like AI training. You keep full ownership. Our engine breaks your content into segments and tags each one so it's easy to match to what buyers want. Content you already have sitting around starts earning without changing your routine.
Every AI-training campaign has a plain-language "What your footage trains" panel explaining the type of model it supports and how the data is licensed. Nothing is hidden behind jargon.
Timelines vary. It depends on:
· How much content you have
· How fast ingestion/library building completes
· Partner QC + selection cycles
Some creators may see movement quickly; others may take longer.
Plans & pricing
There's a free plan with manual uploads. Automate is $30/mo, currently discounted to $20/mo for our launch (or $200/yr). Automate gets you automated uploads from Twitch, TikTok, and Kick, priority support, and VOD automation.
Two ways. First, licensing your content to AI companies through our partner network. Second, taking on paid campaigns through the marketplace. Your content gets broken into segments so the strongest clips can be licensed over and over by different buyers. You keep full ownership and earn a share each time something sells.
Payments & payouts
Every campaign states its pay model and timing up front — these are the platform-wide rules.
Each campaign states its pay model (hourly, per submission, CPM, or per licensed minute) and timing. Most approved work is paid within 3–5 business days via PayPal. You set your payout method in settings.
If licensing occurs and your content is selected, payout terms depend on the licensing structure and the agreement you accept. StreamGenie will provide payout details and reporting based on partner requirements.
Payouts are processed once your content is matched with an AI training partner.
Managing your content
Yes — 100%. Licensing for AI-training campaigns is opt-in, time-boxed and revocable. You choose which footage is included and can opt out of future use at any time.
In most cases, yes — this is about licensing eligible usage, not taking your content away. Exact terms depend on the specific licensing agreement.
Yes. You can stop participating per the agreement and any active licensing commitments.
Yes. You can withdraw your content from the ingestion partner platform at any time through their dashboard.
Perfect — that's often a strong fit. Large libraries may qualify for custom onboarding and priority support.
