This one is exactly what it sounds like: buyers need native 8K video (7680×4320 or higher) and there isn't nearly enough of it. Subject matter is wide open — landscapes, cities, people (with releases), macro, wildlife, industrial processes. If your camera genuinely shoots 8K, almost anything well-shot has a chance.
What gets licensed first:
- Straight-off-the-card original files — no re-encodes, LUTs baked in is fine, filters and sharpening are not
- Steady, intentional shots (tripod, gimbal or drone) at least 10 seconds long
- Variety within a submission batch — different scenes beat 20 takes of the same one
Instant disqualifiers: AI upscales, 4K→8K interpolation, watermarks, timestamps, or footage you didn't shoot yourself.

- Native 8K capture (7680×4320+) — upscaled or interpolated footage is rejected
- Original camera files: no re-encodes, transcodes, sharpening or watermarks
- High bitrate (roughly 100 Mbps or better) at a standard frame rate (24–60fps)
- Steady shots — tripod, gimbal or stabilized drone
- You shot it, you own it, and nobody else has licensed it exclusively
What your footage trains
Ultra-high-resolution footage trains and benchmarks video generation and super-resolution models — native detail at 8K is scarce and buyers pay for the real thing.
