Payments & payouts
Every campaign states its pay model and timing up front. If a payment looks wrong, the answer is usually in the submission status — here's how to check, and when to escalate.
Open Settings and add your PayPal email under payout method. That's it — approved earnings are sent there. Double-check the address: payouts to a mistyped PayPal email are the most common payment problem we see.
Each campaign states its pay model (hourly, per submission, CPM, or per licensed minute) and its timing on the campaign page. Most approved work is paid within 3–5 business days of approval via PayPal. Licensing earnings depend on partner selection cycles, so those timelines vary more.
First, check the submission on your Submissions page — only approved submissions pay out, and the status there is the source of truth. Second, confirm the PayPal email in Settings is correct.
If both check out and the payment still hasn't arrived, email support@diffraction.agency within 30 days with the campaign name, the submission date, and the amount you expected. We'll trace it.
Licensing pays when your content is selected by a partner, so it isn't on a fixed schedule — it depends on eligibility, demand, and partner review cycles. When licensing occurs, payout terms follow the agreement you accepted, and we provide reporting based on partner requirements.
No. Payouts are made gross and you're responsible for your own tax reporting as an independent creator. If you need payout records for your accounting, email support@diffraction.agency.
